Poetic Reflections by Olivia Ahlberg from Ystad, Sweden.

From the Brush of Artist - My name is Olivia Ahlberg. I was born on Gotland, an island in the middle of the Baltic sea, something I realize now has affected my whole life - I'm totally addicted to the Baltic sea. It's my life line. Now I'm based in Ystad, a small town in the very south of Sweden, by the Baltic.

After a long break I returned to photography some years ago. It's simply my passion, something I can't be without.

My pictures on Instagram, taken with my mobile, are like a journal. I photograph what I see and find interesting around me in my every day life. Outside Instagram I only work with analog cameras. It's hard to beat the magic of the darkroom! I love to work and experiment with different techniques. My images are more in the art photo genre, often inspired by philosophy and poetry.
