Colorful Monday

From the Brush of Artist - When I paint the "outside world" disappears ... And feel a force I think any artist can feel when they're merged in what they do. I never know how my paintings will look like... When I consider my paintings I marvel of these forms, textures and colors.

Aesthetically I like the colors I use... I love them shabby, a little dirty... The perfect do not appeal to me much... The Swedish melancholy is naturally as a contestation veil over all my paintings...all based and deeply rooted in my soul, my feelings....My brush strokes also following the Scandinavian seasons..the variety that I love and depend on.....

I love structures I think they are like a wall of stories ..

My paintings comprises up to fifty different layers ..I don't give up before I scrapes and scratched up just the feeling I'm in right then ..it's why I must have the most thickest most durable fabric available ..I am very ..very tough when I paint out my forms and figures...

Booth my characters and figures are usually a little diffuse and they have never had any eyes ..I think I want to get a feeling more than concrete vision.. now it's difficult to know if they are men or women they are abstract androgynous ..I think everything is all about finding a sense and you should ask yourself - what is happening ...what are they saying to each other.

Because I love the structure and the written word, I always ground my paintings with various magazines and books that are close to me right then,..sometimes I scrapes and remove everything up to the finished painting, but mostly I want to discerns certain words or parts of books ... then awakened a curiosity, and I will also see the structure I want to achieve.

I always knew that I would be an artist ... when the adults asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up I replied -An artist of course !!..and that's the way

I always have painted but it is now the last few years that I can live on my art ..it have not been the easiest route..but for me.. painting is as important as eat and sleep ..

I think I have no choice and it's a fantastic choice ... I´m so blessed and deeply grateful that people want my paintings.
