From the Brush of Artist - My name is Simeon Pratt, I am a commercial Cinematographer and drone pilot from central Illinois, and I have been living in Chicago for a few years.
I got in to creative camera work by shooting a lot. I got in to the drone industry early by purchasing my own kit, and that got me a little recognition to start shooting other commercial work.
My driving force is the desire to find a different perspective on some subject or location that hasn't been done before. Whether this is a different way of telling a story or an aerial technique not used before, I enjoy the challenge of creating something new.
I try to do mostly story driven commercials, trying to shoot organically and handheld to get the viewer involved with the subject. I also shoot a lot of travel aerial work for various companies all over the world.
